Introduction to Nursing Jobs in the USA

To avail anursing job in USA you have to pass,  The CGFNS Certification Programme, which is designed for first-level, general nurses educated and licensed outside the United States. More specifically, the CGFNS is for nurses who want to assess their chances of passing the NCLEX-RN examination and attain licensure to practice as registered nurses in the US.

The programme is comprised of several parts:

• a credentials review of the nurse's education
• registration and licensure
• the CGFNS Qualifying Exam
• the TOEFL Exam (if native language is not English)

CGFNS applicants must have a full and unrestricted license/registration to practise as a first-level, general nurse in the country where they completed their general nursing education. Applicants must also hold a current license/registration as a first-level, general nurse.
